Context:
Currently, when advisors log into the advisor portal, they can only see the status of Client Engagement Letters for renewals, not for new clients who have signed an engagement letter. This creates confusion, as advisors may mistakenly believe the client has missed a step in the process and often need to spend extra time verifying the signed engagement letter in PandaDocs.
Impact:
This issue causes unnecessary time spent on verifying engagement letter statuses for new clients, leading to inefficiency and confusion for advisors. It adds unnecessary administrative work and may delay the process for onboarding new clients.
Desired Outcome:
It would be ideal to have the same Client Engagement Letters view available for all clients—both new and renewing—so that advisors can easily track the status of engagement letters for any client directly from the portal. This would reduce confusion, improve workflow efficiency, and prevent any additional steps to confirm signed letters.
Proposal:
Include the ability to view Client Engagement Letters for both new and renewal clients in the advisor portal.
User-Focused Benefits:
Advisors can quickly verify the status of engagement letters without having to cross-check with PandaDocs.
Saves time and reduces confusion, allowing advisors to focus more on client engagement and less on administrative verification.
Ensures a smoother workflow and a better overall user experience for advisors managing both new and renewal clients.
Other notes:
Engagement Letter Status Tracking
  • Status categories such as [Draft, Awaiting Acceptance, Lost] and [Accepted, Completed] to provide clear visibility into the progress of engagement letters.
2.Estimated Total Contract Value
  • The ability to track and filter contract values by the status categories listed in #1. This would greatly benefit firms offering primarily fixed-fee services, as estimating contract value isn’t feasible for hourly billing.
