Ask Dependent Relationship Status in Questionnaire

Need to ask for the Relationship status of dependents. Currently, the questionnaire does not ask for the status. Required for e-filed returns. Below is a cut and paste of the CCH Axcess instructions for the Relationship line

Limit the entry to 38 characters.

Hi everyone - Dependent relationship has been added to the tax questionnaire for 2024 and moving forward.

Son or daughter included in dependent question

In next year’s questionnaire can you have clients designate if their child is a son or daughter.
It is a designation required on the tax return and with certain names one can not be sure their designation so it would be ideal if people can tell us rather than us asking
